Active partners will be able to download acture Standard at no cost for both marketing demonstrations and their own productive use. The ability to provide online or face-to-face live demonstrations of the product in action is a major tool to convey the product's usability and flexibility to potential clients. Further, if a partner is an active consultant in an industry where productive commercial use of acture Standard is useful, such use is generally permitted, provided a partner has successfully converted leads over the past year or is still in the first year of partnership. 

Whilst nextVision will provide all software at no cost to the partner, the partner will be responsible for the supply of suitable Windows tablet hardware for demonstration purposes. 


Demo System for Marketing Purposes

For as long as a partner is accredited, the partner will have access to a demo system with acture Standard features. This demo system can be used to showcase both acture Basic and acture Standard feature sets, whilst also assisting with theoretical discussions around the potential of additional acture Pro features. 

The demo system will be available as an acture App download for modern tablet devices with Windows operating system via the active partner portal. Each partner will receive login details for an acture Panel account to configure his personal demo system.

Whilst nextVision will supply demo data to be used, we recommend that the acture Panel is utilised actively to set up industry-relevant check environments to showcase the acture App in the specific context of each potential client organisation. 


Demo System for Productive Commercial Use

nextVision explicitly permits and encourages the productive use of the provided acture Standard package if a partner has a commercial benefit from doing so, for example, if the partner is active as a QA consultant or service provider. 

A newly accredited partner will immediately be granted the rights for commercial use. However, continued commercial use of the acture Standard demo system is dependent on being an active partner, therefore, commercial access to the system supplied at no cost is reviewed on an annual basis and a partner must convert a minimum of one lead per year to retain commercial use rights, unless otherwise agreed. 


Hardware requirements

The hardware specifications for the demo system are the same as those required for client devices. nextVision only provides software to its partners and clients but will assist the hardware procurement process by specifying minimum and recommended hardware components, or assessing proposed hardware examples for suitability.

Whilst the acture Panel is internet browser based (Google Chrome recommended, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari supported), the acture App ideally requires specific hardware to run.

What if I do not have a device?

It is possible to run and demonstrate the acture App on a Windows 10 PC rather than a tablet. However, we strongly recommend that a partner purchases a suitable tablet to showcase the full functionality, such as touch data entry, dual handed operation, and drawing upon the device camera to add images to the documentation. 

Please contact us to discuss specific hardware choices for new device purchases. For example, while the Microsoft Surface Go tablet would fulfill the hardware specifications, the screen at 10" may be too small to display all features in the App user interface correctly.
